از بیوتین بیشتر بدانیم

بیوتین چگونه عمل میکند؟

غذاهایی مانند تخم مرغ، شیر یا موز حاوی بیوتین هستند. بیوتین یکی از مهم ترین اجزاء آنزیم های دخیل در تجزیه چربی ها، کربوهیدرات و… هستند.

کمبود بیوتین را چگونه تشخیص دهیم؟

تست آزمایشگاهی معتبری جهت تشخیص کمبود بیوتین نداریم. پس باید بوسیله برخی علائم، کمبود آن را تشخیص داد.

بعضی شواهد حاکی از آن است که دیابت نیز باعث کاهش بیوتین میشود.

علائم کمبود بیوتین

  • نازک شدن مو (اغلب همراه با تغییر رنگ مو)
  • بثورات قرمز پوستی اطراف چشم، بینی و دهان
  • افسردگی
  • خستگی
  • توهم
  • مورمور شدن بازو و زانو

چه کسانی بیشتر کمبود بیوتین را تجربه میکنند؟

  • خانم های باردار
  • افراد دچار سوء تغذیه
  • افرادیکه سریعا وزن کم کرده اند
  • بعضی شرایط ژنتیکی خاص
  • سیگار کشیدن

کاربرد های درمانی بیوتین

درمان ریزش مو

مصرف خوراکی بیوتین و زینک همراه با استعمال موضعی کرم های استروئیدی ممکن است به درمان ریزش مو کمک کند.

درمان شکنندگی ناخن

مصرف خوراکی بیوتین تا حدود یک سال، باعث افزایش ضخامت ناخن میشود.

درمان کمکی در دیابت

مصرف بیوتین همراه کرومیوم ممکن است باعث کاهش قند خون شود. به نظر میرسد مصرف بیوتین به تنهایی در افراد دیابتی موثر نیست.

التیام درد عصب در افراد دیابتی

مصرف خوراکی بیوتین باعث کاهش دردهای عصب زانو در افراد دیابتی میشود.

کاهش گرفتگی عضلات بعد از دیالیز

افرادی که دیالیز میشوند معمولا گرفتگی عضلات را تجربه میکنند. بعضی تحقیقات، کارایی مصرف خوراکی بیوتین در کاهش این گرفتگی را گزارش کرده اند.

درمان کمکی در بیماری ام.اس

دوز بالای بیوتین ممکن است باعث بهبود بینایی و کاهش جزئی حالت فلجی در افراد مبتلا به ام. اس شود.

مصرف در دوران بارداری، شیر دهی و کودکان

مصرف بیوتین در این دوران تقریبا بی خطر اعلام شده است.

چه کسانی بیشتر در معرض فقر بیوتین هستند؟

  • افرادی که به طور ژنتیکی بدنشان قادر به استفاده از بیوتین نیست.
  • بیماران دیالیز کلیوی (البته این اشخاص حتما باید تحت نظر پزشک بیوتین مصرف کنند.)
  • افراد سیگاری (سطح بیوتین در این افراد پایین هست و ممکن است نیاز باشد بیوتین مصرف کنند.)

مصرف خوراکی در بزرگسالان

دوز عمومی

  • روزانه 30 میکروگرم برای بزرگسالان بالای 18 سال و خانم های باردار
  • روزانه 35 میکروگرم برای خانم های شیرده

دوز مصرفی افراد دچار فقر بیوتین

  • روزانه تا 10 میلی گرم قابل استفاده هست.

مصرف خوراکی در کودکان

دوز عمومی

  • نوزادان 0-12 ماه –> روزانه 7 میکروگرم
  • کودکان 1-3 سال –> روزانه 8 میکروگرم
  • کودکان 4-8 سال –> روزانه 12 میکروگرم
  • کودکان 9-13 سال –> روزانه 20 میکروگرم
  • نوجوانان 14-18 سال –> روزانه 25 میکروگرم

دوز مصرفی در فقر بیوتین

  • روزانه تا 10 میلیگرم قابل استفاده هست.
